Doggy Rain Dances Work

Can you believe Mom and Dad were planning on an Anniversary beach trip right after Dad got home from a business trip? Really, leave us alone to go to a non-pet friendly area again? We think not and puppy prayers were answered. It is an icky day and we have Mom and Dad all to ourselves. We did hear Dad mention something about rescheduling. Not sure what that means.

Perhaps we should have been more excited when Mom was trying to find dog friendly beaches. Just because we are not excited about water does not mean should give up trying to find a place we can go.

We are still trying to figure out what Anniversary is and why Mom and Dad would plan a special day without us. What could be more special than a day with us?

  1. Oh, I hope you two get to go on the anniversary trip! EVen if you don't go in the water, it is always fun walking on the beach. All the beaches we've been to in Maine & Mass. allow dogs on the beach after dinner time.

  2. I really hope you get to go to a dog friendly place! It wouldn't be fun even for mom and dad if they couldn't share their anniversary with you!

  6. What's an anniversary if it's not in a dog-friendly area? I mean, really! You'd think they'd rather go to the dog park or something to celebrate. ;-)

I hope the rain ends, soon, though and you all can enjoy yourselves!

  7. Celebrating without doggies would not be a happy celebration. Old Chinese proverb that we just made up.

  8. I'm sure your parents want to celebrate with you two cuties. Keep your paws crossed. How could they resist your faces?!

  9. aawwww...at least she tries!

I know here the camps are pet friendly around the Great Lakes but it is pretty much posted that once you hit the sand of the beach, pets are not welcome. Poo.

  15. Hope your mommy and daddy can find the dog-friendly beach...there is no such thing as turtle-friendly beach here :(

Dogs are easier to travel than turtles...ahh my poor babies.
