Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Our First Snow Track of the Year
Our first Christmas wish was granted. Snow cookies were delivered last night. Mom and Dad weren't as happy as their Saturday plans were disrupted. We however enjoyed the first delicious snow cookies of the season.
Sunday Dog Dad got out the noisy snow blower and created a nice wide snow track for us. Of course that doesn't stop us from going off into the deeper snow, but it gives us a starting point if we are feeling less than enthusiastic about going out into the cold.

Blogville Holiday Card Exchange
We love the Blogville Holiday card exchange and this year we swore we were going to be registered before Lassiter Chase and Benjamin had to remind us. However, Mom has been hunting since Halloween to find out about the card exchange and couldn't find a thing as it has a new host this year. Thankfully we have pawesome Sheltie buddies in Lassiter and Chase and they posted on our blog Monday to tell us how to sign up. So we thought it only fair to share with others who might be as clueless as we.
This year the Blogville card exchange is being hosted at Kylascott and you can find all the info you need to sign up here. The deadline to sign up is November 17 so you'll want to get your information in soon.
Looking forward to posting all my cards and seeing everyone else's card piles too.

Monday Mischief: Jack Frost Visited
We went out for our morning time with Mom last week and she discovered that Jack Frost had been out painting the yard. It has been a remarkably warm winter and this is the first full yard painting we've received.
There's something a little annoying about Jack. He makes our paws cold and you can't really eat him like you can with snow.
Mom says his art work will be gone when the sun is up for a bit, but we've decided Jack has nothing on a good snow pile you can eat and tunnel into.

Halloween Fun
Our neighbors turn their yard into a haunted yard every year for Halloween. We decided to go visit before it got dark and crowded with trick or treaters. Dad helped the neighborhood holiday atmosphere by playing creepy Halloween themed music that added to their scary sounds across the way. The kids loved it.
We love the attention we get. People are always telling us how cute we are and we get tons of requests to be petted. Just saying when you are cute who needs a costume. Mom did make us wear bandanas.
Annie was delighted that the Halloween flag featured a Sable Sheltie. The Patriotic one Mom found has a tri-colored Sheltie and she was feeling left out. Mom was surprised at how much this one looks like Annie if Annie would ever willingly wear a costume.
Mom has not been great about Blogging, but we are trying to check in on everyone when we can. We haven't seen news about the card exchange. If anyone has news please leave us a message. It is something we look forward to every year.
