Sheltie CSI

We know Mom loves those police shows so it made no sense why she couldn't understand that we had to be in her perennial garden to explore a crime that had occurred here.

Here we are searching for evidence of an intruder. You think the parents would be happy, but all they wanted was for us to give up our crime fighting and leave the crime scene.

We discovered possible nose print evidence here. We don't want to prejudge anything but we suspect bunnies are back in the area. As specialists, we don't prejudge the evidence.

Making sure no evidence no matter how small is left unexplored.

Mom and Dad halted our study. However, we are not giving up. We will continue our study and make sure Mom's perennial garden is protected. We will post more news as we have it.

  1. You can't be crime fighters extraordinaire without a crime scene to investigate !

    1. They nest in the flower gardens and then shop in the veggie gardens. We've tried explaining that we need to oust them before the vegetation gets too thick and they get too comfy. However, humans resist.

    1. Mom's too soft on these furry creatures. If it was a snake she'd have no trouble going after it. However, she sees those cute furry creatures and she melts. She needs us to stay tough.

  9. You were in the perennial garden, no way no how. Why if a crime happened in our perennial garden it would go into the stack of unsolved crimes.

  11. We had a similar investigation going on in our yard last night. Unfortunately, it didn't end well for the Perp.

    1. We tend to herd stuff. We roll it, we play with it, but we haven't really hurt anything yet.

  12. Wouldn't you think our humans should be grateful for our investigations? Pierre is certainly having a time uprooting the yard in search of criminal moles! We'd love to have bunnies to uncover.

    1. The thing about moles is Mom doesn't find them cute. Its kind of like snakes. She has no problem when we want them removed. No sentimentality to it. However, when the rabbits becoming bunnies, she already has lost the game. She has trouble being tough with cute.

  14. Y'all should come check out the evidence in my backyard. You'll actually spot the perps. Plenty of rabbits and mice. But you can only come over if you plan to catch some of them.
