Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Happy 4th of July
Mom and Dad went out to see fireworks on Saturday. We got to play ball with their guests before they left. That was fun. Katy even participated and that was a great surprise. They had a great time at the concert and fireworks. They were gone a REALLY long time. Dad said lots of other people were there and it took a while to get home. Other people were setting them off around here, but we have managed to survive so far. We hope everyone else stays calm through the loud booms.
They are off to a parade and then we are having some of our favorite people visit. We hope all of you have some fun today despite the loud noises.

Happy 4th of July! Hope you had a wonderful holiday!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lot of fun getting to play ball with the guests. I know what you mean about people setting off fireworks in the neighborhood and everything. Why is it that they wait until 10pm to set them off. That's just plain wrong. Don't they know a Sheltie needs a good night's rest so we can go outside and start barking at 5am.
