Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Grandma and Grandpa are Coming
Grandma and Grandpa will be in Massachusetts tomorrow! They have not been to visit since Christmas. Katy has only met them once, but I got to spend lots of time before they moved to Florida. We used to go to their house all the time and play. Then they left and we only get to see them twice a year.
Grandma and Mom's sister buy the best toys. The cow in the picture is one of Grandma's picks and Katy and I play with it all the time.

How exciting. I can't wait to hear all about their visit. I hope they bring presents for you!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I hope you have a wonderful visit!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun visit. So, are you cleaning up getting ready for them, or strategically placing your toys so they see that you have taken care of what they have gotten for you??? Maybe that will get you more?

It is a balance. The toys have to look played with, but not destroyed for Grandma to feel appreciated. We like her to feel loved and encouraged.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time with your grandparents! I love my Great Grampy...he's scared of dogs but he can't help but love me. Except for my drool..lol. Thanks for commenting on Mom's blog post too!

It is so much fun to have your Grandma and Grandpa visit! You know their job is to spoil the babies and I bet you will be pretty darned spoiled when they arrive, as you should be!
ReplyDeleteThat cow is just too cute! Have a great time!
Dad's family never had dogs. He was very surprised to find just how much Grandpa enjoys having us around. Grandma loves her fur grandchildren as evidenced by her gifts.
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness, grandparents mean spoiling! lucky you!!
ReplyDeleteYou're getting a lot of love!!
ReplyDeleteAwww, how great that your grandma comes to visit! I only met my mommy's mommy once (I went to her house for Thanksgiving last year -- mommy said I was too young to leave alone).
ReplyDeleteHope you have a fun time!!
Woofs & hugs,
~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)
