Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Your hosta's are so big and beautiful! A few dogs I know have been peeing on mine!I think I am going to have to transplant them to a safer area!
ReplyDeleteShade seeking plants and animals. Appropriate picture for the time of year.
ReplyDeleteVery nice hosta. Somebody who likes running around the back yard dug mine up.
ReplyDeleteHi Bailey and Katie! Thanks for visitin me! I came over to see you! My Mom always had Shelties. Moms last Sheltie passed when I was 6 months old. Mom said that she was comfortable to cross the rainbow bridge because she knew that I would take care of Mom.
ReplyDeleteCome on over and play anytime!
woos, Tessa
I like those hosta! They make a good backdrop for pretty Sheltie photos!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture. If I had green thumbs I would work on starting a garden too, but I just don't seem to be able to keep anything growing. My 8 month old boerboel doesn't help either! lol She likes digging and chewing....
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh THOSE are hostas!!!! Thank you!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove Katy & Bailey in the photo!
xoxoxo
Happy to help. Wordless Wednesday seemed a great time to show off the beautiful hostas the dogs see as their personal playground.
ReplyDeleteYou two blended nicely in that green background :)You two blended nicely in that green background :)
ReplyDeleteHow do you keep the snails away???
ReplyDeleteI love the photo. How did you both manage to stand still for the picture? Mommy accidently mowed over part of one of our hostas in the yard -- but she said it will hopefully grow back next year.
ReplyDeleteDad says the photo was pure luck. Katy was trying to prevent the photo and finally decided she did not want to be left out. For once Bailey decided to cooperate with the Paparazi.
ReplyDeleteAs you can tell from the holes we have some bug action, but so far no snails. I hope this does not jinx us.
