Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Sheltie Massage
One of our favorite events at Paws in the Park is finding out if there is a massage therapist. It was a different woman this year, but Mom and Dad signed Katy and I up for 15-minute sessions each. I got to go first and it was amazing. Katy watched and decided it might be worth trying. She never remembers how good it was last year.
As you can see, I stayed close to Katy to make sure she felt safe during her massage. At first, she wasn't too crazy about this strange woman touching her, but then the lady found her spots and then she sat back and enjoyed the journey. Mama had to be a bit firm with Katy to get her to leave when her time was up. Katy might have camped out there for the day.

Jimmy gets massages at some of the agility trials we go to. By the time it is done, he doesn't want it to end, and he won't get off the table. He's even fallen asleep before!
ReplyDeleteOoh that looks like fun. Nothing like a little spa treatment to make a good day even better!
