Sheltie Massage

One of our favorite events at Paws in the Park is finding out if there is a massage therapist. It was a different woman this year, but Mom and Dad signed Katy and I up for 15-minute sessions each. I got to go first and it was amazing. Katy watched and decided it might be worth trying. She never remembers how good it was last year.

As you can see, I stayed close to Katy to make sure she felt safe during her massage. At first, she wasn't too crazy about this strange woman touching her, but then the lady found her spots and then she sat back and enjoyed the journey. Mama had to be a bit firm with Katy to get her to leave when her time was up. Katy might have camped out there for the day.

    1. Mom would love one, too. Ironically while we get one to two massages at these events each year, Mom can't remember the last time she went and got a massage.

    1. Mom gives us massages, too. She's watched the techniques and learned a few tricks. She wants to take a class, but so far the schedules always conflict. We are happy to be her homework.

  16. Hi Y'all!

Woohoo!!! I love massages! I get them all the time, from my Human. I just go to sleep. I get a super great one when I take a bath! The horses and my Humans have all gotten acupuncture, but I haven't yet.

  17. Jimmy gets massages at some of the agility trials we go to. By the time it is done, he doesn't want it to end, and he won't get off the table. He's even fallen asleep before!
