This is one of our favorite bushes. Katy is small enough to squeeze under the bushes and go after the bunny that gets into the Veggie gardens that are hidden behind these bushes. The bunnies thought this was a safe highway to the
Our Lilac bush, which frankly looks more like a tree is in bloom now, too. This is one of Mom's favorites because the blooms smell so good. In the winter, she has Lilac candles. In the spring, she has the real deal to bring in the house. She will probably get some shots of that to post, too.

ReplyDeleteOUR mom says that your LILAC is blooming really FULL. Ours doesn't get that bright with blossoms. They SMELL wonderful.

Your Mama is right. Those are Rhododendrons. The Lilacs are just starting to bloom and Dog Dad has promised to get some pictures this weekend. Mama is hoping to get him to cut her some flowers, too. The "bush" has grown into a tree making it hard for Mama to get her flower fix since they are up so high.

Gorgeous flowers! We're heading into Winter here in Australia so won't be seeing blooms for a few more months. But we get snow so that's exciting!
