Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Doggy Doggy Quite Contrary How Does Your Garden Grow?
Well the flowers and the veggies are doing well.
Mom was so excited to make her first fresh eggplant parm. Dad walked in the house and was thrilled at the smells coming from the kitchen. This is unusual since Dad is the real cook in the family.
The tomatoes are starting to come in and Dad thinks it is funny that Mom thinks they taste like tomato candy.
Dad told us we have been doing a good job with critter control that is why he and Mom have such good stuff to eat. It is nice to be appreciated.
If Dad ever stops flying, we will post some updated pictures.

Excellent job! If you in any way contributed to the critter control so that Mom could make eggplant parm, you are fantastic in my book!!!
ReplyDeleteCan I come over for some eggplant parm?
ReplyDeleteWay to keep the critters away. So do you two get any parm or tomatoes for your great gardenin work? Sure do hope so, I love tomatoes.

Ohhh how I could go for tomato candy....
ReplyDelete"tomato candy?" what does that taste like?
ReplyDeleteMy tomatoes are taking soooo long to ripen, I think it is because I planted mine so late.
Enjoy!
Keep up the good work on the critter control!
