Remembering Memorial Day

Mom explained to us the meaning of Memorial Day. It is not just a day when Dad is home from work and able to spend more time with us. It is a day our country honors those who have died fighting for their country.

This day we pause and remember the efforts of those who give all so our country stays free.

  3. Mom's Dad was a Army Vet from WWII and a Marine Vet from Korea. He has one of those flags on his grave, too.

  5. It is a special day, I wish more humans celebrated what they were supposed to instead of just using it as a day off to eat. But we do like the special treat we get today. But mumma makes a say a prayer for her grandpa, he was in this world war 2. Our daddy is a war & history buff he talks about these wars all the time. It makes me and casey sad that humans have to die to keep us safe, but I am happy we are safe. ~Cain and Casey~
