Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Visit to Santa Paws
This was our visit to Santa Paws last year. It was Katy's first trip ever. We must have been good because he filled our stockings with toys and treats that Mom was still giving out to us months later.
We are having a late visit with Santa this year. Mom says that with the busy holiday schedule Santa cannot fit us in until December 17 when Santa is taking pictures to raise funds for the local Labrador Rescue. We have several Lab friends so we think that Lab rescue is a wonderful idea. If getting our picture taken with Santa can help, we are happy to do our part.
Mom almost has the tree skirt finished so the decorating should begin soon.

Oh Katie and Bailey, you certainly took a great picture with Santa! I love your smiles. You are two precious little pups, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteLovely picture, I really like the background. At our pet smart they didnt have any sort of background
ReplyDeleteThey have certain days were a professional photographer comes in and other days were volunteers do it. It costs a bit more on the professional days, but it was worth it for this shot. Sadly, this year the professional is not available in a location or time we can make. So we will still go and visit, but we will not have a shot like this one for a while.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great holiday photo with Santa you have. Hope your new one will be just as cute! I think Tucker would be one big wiggle to even try to sit next to Santa! Or trying to eat his boots or beard...maybe next year we will go.
ReplyDeleteI agree--this shot is GREAT!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful picture of Santa! I am hoping that I get to take one this year :)
ReplyDeleteXOXOXO
