Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Remembering Memorial Day
Mom explained to us the meaning of Memorial Day. It is not just a day when Dad is home from work and able to spend more time with us. It is a day our country honors those who have died fighting for their country.
This day we pause and remember the efforts of those who give all so our country stays free.

ReplyDeleteHappy Memorial Day to all of you !!!
ReplyDeleteMom's Dad was a Army Vet from WWII and a Marine Vet from Korea. He has one of those flags on his grave, too.

It is a special day, I wish more humans celebrated what they were supposed to instead of just using it as a day off to eat. But we do like the special treat we get today. But mumma makes a say a prayer for her grandpa, he was in this world war 2. Our daddy is a war & history buff he talks about these wars all the time. It makes me and casey sad that humans have to die to keep us safe, but I am happy we are safe. ~Cain and Casey~
