Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Where is the Snow?
No, we are not trying to jinx ourselves by asking that question. We had a crazy Halloween storm that socked us hard and then nothing. However, this was our yard last year. We had a single path all winter to play in and we are afraid if the snow comes, it will come all at once again and not spread itself out so we can have a few snow cookies, make a few snow dog angels, and let it melt before the next storm hits. We would prefer not to have the snow corridor that hit last year and lasted until mid-spring.

We hear ya! We would like just a regular old fashioned winter! Where is it! Great pic in last years snow!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on this one 100%. I would actually pawfer not to EVER have ANY snow though.
ReplyDeleteOh yea I knows what you means!
ReplyDeletewoos, Tessa
We need a winter here in Kansas too. Mom still has the Christmas tree up so we can PRETEND to have winter. I don't want to tell her that it's fifty-eight degrees outside. It will break her heart.
ReplyDeleteWe had tunnels here last year.too. Im enjoying not having to shovel my backyard...but a snow day would be nice.
ReplyDeleteyep...we are hurtin' for some here in NW MT as well!
ReplyDeletebut it is finally happening out there at the moment....hate to jinx it...maybe, just maybe...they will have to shovel a lil path for my lil feets:) BOL
It certainly doesn't feel like winter in the Bay Area of CA. Highs in the 60's during the day and sunny...every day!
ReplyDeleteEveryone seems to be asking the same question! Teehee! We don't have any snow by us either! ;)
ReplyDeleteWoofs & hugs, <3
~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)
I've been wondering the same thing...but am too scared to say it out loud! (It's our first winter in the north!)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have some snow here too but Mom said it's impossible : ((
ReplyDeleteToo much going on around our household! The snow can wait for a while. That's the last thing Mommy needs right now.
ReplyDeleteits been a very odd winter here in MI. hardly no snow at all.
ReplyDeleteToday is our first real snowfall, but because it had been unusually warm, it really isn't sticking.
