Where is the Snow?

No, we are not trying to jinx ourselves by asking that question. We had a crazy Halloween storm that socked us hard and then nothing. However, this was our yard last year. We had a single path all winter to play in and we are afraid if the snow comes, it will come all at once again and not spread itself out so we can have a few snow cookies, make a few snow dog angels, and let it melt before the next storm hits. We would prefer not to have the snow corridor that hit last year and lasted until mid-spring.

  4. We need a winter here in Kansas too. Mom still has the Christmas tree up so we can PRETEND to have winter. I don't want to tell her that it's fifty-eight degrees outside. It will break her heart.

  7. It certainly doesn't feel like winter in the Bay Area of CA. Highs in the 60's during the day and sunny...every day!

  11. Too much going on around our household! The snow can wait for a while. That's the last thing Mommy needs right now.

  13. Today is our first real snowfall, but because it had been unusually warm, it really isn't sticking.
