Mom warned you they'd be flashbacks as she processed all the Christmas pictures.
Katy loves people, but like many people she finds crowds to be a bit overwhelming. One of her favorite holiday traditions is the long table clothes because they make a great cave or as Katy likes to think of it a wonderful Sheltie retreat. She can see and hear everything that's going on, but she's away from it and has more of a choice when to interact with it all. It took several tries for Mom to get this picture, which makes sense. Who wants to be bothered in your retreat?
Under the table terrific place to hide you get the wonderful smell of the holiday food and perhaps a chance to snag anything that happens to fall.
