What is a Dog Supposed to Do With Dolls in the House?

What is it with these things that look like humans, but are not alive? Kids bring them to the house and the dolls sometimes make noises. That really freaks me out. Mom has them stored in the closet. She brings them out, tries clothes on them, takes pictures, gives the clothes away, and then they go back in the closet. They come in all sizes and she makes different kinds of clothes for them all the time. Does anyone know anything about these things she calls dolls? She lets us sniff them, but NO PLAYING with them. We played with one of the outfits she was working on yesterday and she was not at all pleased. Can we help it if it looked like a ball?

  1. I am slightly concerned as to what Finn will do to our tree this year. This reinforces my fears! I really like that santa hat! Did you make the clothes? And you look super cute in front of that doll too!

  2. This is one of Mom's crochet projects. She is sending the outfit off today and as I mentioned the doll is oddly back in the closet. I just don't get it.

  3. We have the same issues here. We have to keep all of our decorations up off the floor so someone does't eat them or pee on them:)

  4. I agree with you, if Pawrents don't want it chewed then don't put it on our floor!

  7. Casey and I have a little person that lives with us and she has those things all over her room. Sometimes it is hard for me and Casey to remember which of these are ok for us to play with and which ones lil m is going to be upset with us if we chew on. ~Cain and Casey

  8. I'm just getting a chance to read your blog, sorry it's taken me so long. I was shocked to hear that your Mommy doesn't let you play with the doll. That is one happy doll and the outfit is adorable. Usually, if I give mommy my big pathetic looking eye face -- she usually gives in and lets me play with her stuff -- like she has a Cabbage Patch doll from the 1980's -- if I give her the look, she lets me play with it for like 2 minutes then she takes it away. She lets me play with other stuff longer -- but her Cabbage Patch doll is hers and I respect that. Think on the bright side -- at least when your Mommy sells the doll outfits - at least there isn't a naked doll standing there -- at least they go in the closet.
