Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Happy Halloween
Last Halloween we were surprised by a storm the day before Halloween. Between Covid and the snow Mom and Dad had to make some changes to our traditional Halloween Trick or Treating preparations. All and all it went really well. We enjoyed hanging out in the front yard after dark in the snow. While Mom was cold we were quite comfortable with our nice thick Sheltie coats.
Mom is hoping for better weather for the little ones tonight. She's been adding more yard decorations and hopes to be able to post some post Halloween pictures showing how we spent the holiday.
We hope all of you have a fun, peaceful Halloween.

Happy Howl-o-ween! We don't have snow but it's raining today supposed to stop this afternoon so maybe not bad for the kids. Last year we didn't do Halloween.
ReplyDeleteThankfully no snow this year. This morning we are in the 60's and its the first time it hasn't rained in days. We are still planning on having the dogs outside and the candy shoot. The candy shoot was a big hit and the dogs much preferred being outside rather than inside with the constant doorbell ringing.
ReplyDeleteTrick or treating couldn't happen here last year. We are glad you found a way, inspire the snow. No snow yet here but it is a wet one. Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween! We hope the weather cooperates for you tonight with the trick or treaters.
