Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Catching up on my Reading
Bailey's never been one for reading, but since I discovered Mom's bed, I've always loved exploring her books. There is something about sticking my nose in a book and exploring it. Of course, there was that incident with teeth involved, so Mom insists I have to be supervised around books now, but oh I do love them. Today we were exploring a mystery where, well I won't spoil it for you. I love to nose my way to the end find out who done it and then work my way through the clues. Mom does find it a bit annoying when I lose her place.
Today, sensing I was missing my daily dose of all the wonderful winter games we've been watching she actually read some of the story to me until I fell asleep. Now I am certain I know who did it. Except she won't let me tell her. She hates it when I guess first and ruin the book for her.

ReplyDeleteYou look adorable reading your book!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great way to spend a cold afternoon and reading so improves the mind :)
ReplyDeleteOh Bailey you look like you are really into that book

Katy has always loved books, the smell the feel. Bailey finds them rather annoying as they distract attention from him.
DeleteKaty, you look deep in thought reading that book. Hopefully there is a dog in the book. Books with dogs in them are the best!
ReplyDeletesee? That's why Shelties are 6th on the Intelligence list, we READ.
ReplyDeleteWe've been reading a lot more with momma. I think she liked the cuddles. I only like it when shes got photos of things that look like me. I don't think Casey cares whats going on as long as she can cuddle, too. ~ Tink
ReplyDeleteSpoiler alert or spoiled alert? :D
ReplyDeleteI hope my mom will do this often with me :(
