Do you guys play tag? It is one of our wild and crazy indoor games. You've seen this couch. It is normally covered in nice soft fuzzy fleece. Well when we play our crazy game of tag this becomes our safe zone. Katy decided you are fair game anywhere on the floor. However, when you jump up on the couch, you are safe. Upstairs the safe zone is Mom and Dad's bed.
One of us usually starts the game and the zoomies begin. Katy is usually the one that declares a time out by jumping up on the couch. As you can see here, sometimes she is joined by Bailey. Then one will bump the other and the zoomies begin again until exhaustion sets in or Mom and Dad step in and declare the games done.
Nothing like an indoor game of zoomies on a cold or wet day. Have a tremendous Thursday.

ReplyDeleteWell, that game of tag sounds like a world of fun! I don't have another dog to play with so I force Ma to play chase around the (dining room) table. Of course, being small I can cheat and scurry under the table to safety. BOL

What a fun game! I'm not sure if it is one I can get Maya and Pierson to play. Pierson likes to chase Maya, but won't chase me. And I've never tried to chase them so I don't think it will even occur to them to run.
ReplyDeleteI play tag with Cody but he gets all of the "safe zones" cause he is a cat and decreed that "safe zones" are places that I can't reach! NOT FAIR!
