Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Just When We Thought the Snow Cookies Were Gone
Yes, Dad saw a crocus popping up through the ground yesterday. I've been standing watch on the last of the snow, but truthfully the cookies are a bit stale. Dad doesn't wanting us eating them anymore because he says they are mixed with other stuff we shouldn't be eating.
Then last night while he was watching basketball, we heard the magic words, we are predicted to get 4-8 inches of snow cookies starting tonight. Our spring snow cookies are headed our way baking in the clouds even as we speak. Fresh snow cookies might even be here as a bedtime snack.
We just can't understand why Mom and Dad just don't seem to show the same excitement.

Snow cookies are the best. As long as they are clean, Mama lets us have as many as we want. Can you imagine unlimited treats??? All you have to do is go out in the back yard and scoop up as many as you want.
DeleteWe got a dusting this morning, but the cookies melted away pretty fast!
ReplyDeleteSpring snow doesn't tend to last as long. Our last bout of snow cookies got washed away with spring rains until this is all that's left.
ReplyDeleteWe got a LITTLE bit today and may get some more cookies tonight... We wish fur SUMMER ... beclaws we don't think SPRING is gonna come at all.
ReplyDeleteWOW, snow coming, man we had like 81 Saturday, the nights get cold, but it gets back to the 60's and 70's now.
