Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Look Who Learned about the Front Yard
It has bothered Mom for years that bunnies don't seem to learn. There is plentiful clover in the front lawn that they seem to love and the front lawn is not fenced for dogs so we can't play with them. Certainly there are hazards for wild animals everywhere but the front yard offers more hiding places than the back where bunnies seem to see it as some kind of American Ninja Bunny course. You get clover if you win and potential death or bodily harm if you don't make the safe zone with your amazing leap. Some have paid the ultimate price for being too slow, not making the right obstacle choice, etc. This brings us back to why Mom gets so frustrated that they won't stay either in the front yard or in the yards that don't have pets.
So, she happily took this picture to show one with at least a moment of sense. It decided to go for the easy clover. No ninja practice today.

Thankful Thursday: Bunnnies Stayed in Front Yard
Mom is grateful these bunnies stayed in front yard where we aren't allowed as it isn't fenced. Therefore she doesn't have to worry about the safety of the bunnies.

Thankful Thursday: Bunny is grateful we are oblivous
Dog Dad caught these pictures of us. Do you see the bunny boldly eating clover in the back? We didn't. Yes, we are embarrassed. We missed the critter right behind us as we were watching dog Dad.
