Since we only post our flowers on Fridays it is now summer and still posting our spring flowers. However, Mom is insisting on not skipping her favorites, so it is summer and you are still seeing our spring flowers. It's just a Mom thing.
When we moved here Mom was thrilled to find we had a Lilac Bush in the back yard. She loves the color and smell of Lilacs. It's had trouble during some of the windy and wild winters of the last few years, but this has been one of its stronger blooming years.
Beautiful! If your mom loves lilacs, she should come to the Lilac Festival in Rochester NY one year. It usually starts on Mother's Day in May.
