Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Before and After
Mom caught these pictures during the storm last Thursday and really liked them because it demonstrates two things, one Spring snow really doesn't want to stay and two Evergreens shed snow at the first possible chance they get.
Snow has been melting steadily since the storm, but we have hope as the weather dude says more snow is coming our way this week. We like our snow cookies as long as we can get them.

You're so right about that spring snow. We still have some on the ground but it's out of all of the trees. I'm so over it too! Thanks for stopping over!
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that too. As soon as the wind picks up, the snow falls off the evergreens. We still have snow on the ground, but the cold temperature is keeping it there.
ReplyDeleteHolee Macaroni!!! What is all dat white stuff. Never saw that before where I live. :)

Our snow was heavy like that but the sun has been shining the last couple of days and getting to about 50 so it just about all gone!

Even though spring snow doesn't last long, it does get a little depressing, I am so ready for spring. I heard geese last night so it can't be too far away. We have snow coming this week too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I love fresh snow, I just don't like it when it hangs around and gets all icy. Beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing at Creative Mondays :) Hope you can join us tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a huge difference! I hope spring shows up soon in your part of the world.
