Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

It Snowed!
You know we love our snow cookies. We even get ice cubes in the summer we love the icy stuff so much. However, we were just starting to enjoy the joys of spring. The white stuff on the ground was unexpected. We had not placed an order. Our annual charity walks are just around the corner. We don't want Mom and Dad backing out because of weird weather. We'll admit we were perhaps a bit aggressive in our snow cookie prayers. However, we'd really like this white stuff to stop before it interferes with our Spring plans.

Naughty Mother Nature. Paws crossed that was the last of the white stuff and Spring is now really there over at yours. Have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
no more snow (until November)!
ReplyDeleteOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhh so it is ALL your fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmmmm I think you two had had better go into hiding - if peeps up your way know you are responsible for the snow - they will be coming after you !
ReplyDeleteThankfully Mom & Dad are aware of our involvement with the problem and no further punishment is coming except the natural consequences of missing out on Spring. :(
DeleteWe are BEGGING you to STOP praying fur SNOW COOKIES... WE are sick and tired of them... and the cold and we want SPRING. Enough already. OKAY???????
ReplyDeleteWe stopped when the flowers started coming up and Mom and Dad started talking about our favorite charity walking events. However there must have been a back up in deliveries or something because we were sure all our prayers had been filled for the year.
ReplyDeleteOh come on! What next

We had some frosty weather too. Not sure if we should be singing Christmas Carols on Easter or what!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! Maybe your mom could put some snow cookies in the freezer, and then you wouldn't have to pray for them. I hope it warms up soon! We are finally getting some cooler weather here (in So Cal) - which is actually nice, since it was such a grossly hot winter. It is gray and cloudy today and I like it! :)
ReplyDeleteWell we have not had that for a while, but our spring is having trouble going sprong!
