Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Paws in the Park
As rescue dogs we love to promote events for other dogs in need of a new home. Save a Dog is hosting Paws in the Park at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts on Sunday May 5 from 10-3. The cost is $10 for adults and children 12 and older. Those 11 and under are charged $5. Registration for the one-mile walk starts at 10 AM. The walk begins at 11 AM. There are all kinds of vendors, doggie games, food, and more. Check out the event website here.
Mom was all excited about going to this event two years ago and then she got sick. Somehow, she missed it last year. This year we are determined to be there.

Wow we haven't seen you in quite some time! Hope all is well! Hope you do get to go to that great event!
ReplyDeleteWe were getting ready to post about our great weekend celebrating Dad's birthday when everything happened in Boston. Then it took Mom a while to want to post again. When she heard about this event she wanted to help with getting the news out. Wait until you see what Grandma made us for Dad's birthday.
Deletehappy monday...enjoy your time there.
ReplyDeleteKudos to your rescue!!

Our rescue is in CT so we don't get to do many events with them. Instead we try to attend as many of the local events as we can to help out the local rescues. We try to support our rescue with donations as we can. There are three big walks for various groups in the spring/summer here that we have heard about through various rescue groups. Last year we got to two of them.
DeleteFun! Tell us how it goes. :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like so much fun! I'm sure you'll make it this year. Paws crossed!
