The Appliance Vet is Coming

Dad says the appliances are getting a checkup today with something to do with their warranty. The dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer are seeing the appliance vet who comes to the house. I guess it would be hard for the appliances to get in Dad’s car and go to the appliance vet.
Bailey wants to know if they get shots. Every time we go there always seems to be shots involved. Mom talks about the temperature in the washing machine, so we are curious to know if the Vet will be checking on it when he/she is here.

Have any of you had experience with appliance vets? We have had plumbers and electricians here. We had no idea there were vets for appliances or that they got checkups. The plumbing has had inspections and repairs, but it has never had a checkup. Maybe that is why our favorite plumber visits instead of a plumbing vet.

  1. Our humans just wait for stuff to break, then they ignore it for a while and finally call in people we can terrorize.

  2. We just wait for everything to break, then we loose the warranty, your parents are very responsible

  3. Oh yea, ya gotta watch them carefully. You don't want the applience vets to take you pliences!

    woos, Tessa

  4. My appliances have never gotten a check-up, but I've heard mention that the dishwasher might be sick.

    Nubbin wiggles,

  5. "Appliance Vet" that is priceless! I didn't know we are supposed to get our appliances checked! I also usually wait for something to break, I must commend you for being so proactive!

  6. Mom honestly admits if it hadn't been for the call reminding her that she was do for an appliance checkup, she would likely not have made one. While she and Dad have a calendar for Doggy visits, the appliances usually have to start running a fever before she calls someone.

  7. Wow I didn't know appliances have their own vets. I wonder where they take the temperature of the washing machine. They must have a super big thermometer, to reach it's backside.

  8. We've never seen checkups for appliances, we hope they don't break down !
