Summer has many benefits, but there is nothing like the cool fall weather for outdoor fun.
Mama melts like an ice cream cone so she comes out more when the weather cools down. We get more walks. There are so many interesting smells. The back porch is warm, but lacks that sauna effect of midsummer.
When Mama and Papa clean out the gardens, we have even more room to play. Truly, there are no down sides to fall in New England for a Sheltie.
Yes fall is a wonderfully beautiufl tiem of year.

We can't get enough of summer. It's in the upper 90s here and we love it. Are we weird?
ReplyDeleteWe love Fall at our house, too. Both of our Labs like to be outside. In the summer the Yellow gal likes it outside; the Black guy gets too hot in the direct sun so he stays inside.

ReplyDeleteWe like how you used the expression -- your mom melts like an ice cream cone when it's hot. That's a fun expression to say -- our Mommy will have to remember that saying, she melts too when it's hot!

ReplyDeleteI love going outside and decorating my beard with leaves. Unfortunately my mom person does not appreciate my costuming and removes them as soon as she can. I put up a good fight, though.
