Bailey and Katy came to us as rescues. We lost Bailey in June of 2016 and Katy in November of 2022. We were blessed to have Annie join us in August of 2016. They have brought great love and joy to our immediate family and to extended family and friends. This blog will share their stories and issues related to Shelties. Some told from their perspective and others told from those that share this journey with them. Notice: This blog does have Amazon product links and Google Adsense

Shelties in the Irises
Mom loves her irises, but never seems to get pictures of them. This weekend Dad got a double bonuse. He took pictures of her irises in bloom and caught us, too. She was very pleased with his creative shots.

ReplyDeleteYes, very nice. It reminds me of formal wedding portraits in the garden only with beautiful dogs.

ReplyDeleteShortly after we moved here Mom visted almost every garden club plant sale for several years building her perennials. Relatives donated some Iris, Lilies, and Hosta to get them started. She now is in a position to split plants and share with others.
ReplyDeleteYears like this when health issues are a problem, she still has amazing plants even when she and Dog Dad may not end up getting out to do everything that needs doing.
She is still plotting how to get her veggies in this year.
your yard looks lovely!!! Just beautiful!! The Shelties look even more beautiful standing among the lovely plants!
